DALI+ leverages Thread technology to offer robust security with encryption, safeguarding data transmission within the network. Collaboration with the Thread Group ensures seamless integration with other DALI+ devices regardless of manufacturer.

Key Features of DALI+ with Thread

Wireless Mesh Network: Thread creates a robust mesh network using Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). Existing Thread routers can connect multiple networks, enabling a highly scalable lighting control system.

Unlimited Addressing: DALI+ goes beyond standard DALI addressing limitations. With Thread's IPv6 routing, it offers virtually limitless addressing capabilities.

Broad Interoperability: DALI+ certification builds upon existing DALI-2 and D4i programs, ensuring product compatibility. Additionally, bridge devices allow wired DALI-2 systems to work with DALI+ wireless networks.

Extensive Device Support: DALI+ supports a wide range of control devices like occupancy sensors, light sensors, and various switches. Control gear support includes LED drivers with data on luminaires, power consumption, and diagnostics.
